This is site is great, especially if you do not have the money to be purchasing your stock images yet. All you have to do is is sign up, its free. Ok, well that is it, for today. Thank you for reading. And enjoy your images. I also like to manipulate the images in Photoshop.

Everybody Likes a Present

RSS AND ATOM subscriptions are free. So please subscribe to this blog. Right now my blog entries have been real short and almost pointless. The reason for this is because I am in the process of redesigning my website, and also doing work for other people. Also, I had 6 classes taking up a lot of my time, but I only have one final left. After I get all this stuff taken care of, I will start to publish more professional blogs. Some of the topics I will be able to cover will be:
Websites
-Design
-coding
-Newest Coding Techniques
-W3C.org and verfication and other best practices
Networking
-step by step guides (with pictures)
-New technology
Much much more

So subscribe to my Blog, hey its free and what can you lose.

Projects

I am currently working on a website that might be my bands website. I am not sure that I going to see it though. Here is the link. http://www.geocities.com/gastwirthp@verizon.net/projects/new.html
You have to disable your pop up blocker, which is really annoying. Remember that this is a test site. I am currently trying to change that. Well that is about it for now. I am currently waiting for the post office to deliver my memory upgrade. This laptop has 256 mb but I need at least 512 mb. My desktop has 512 mb and I think that is good. This laptop just get hung up, and it has a faster processor than my desktop, so I think it is definitely the memory.

I've been Cheating On IE

The title I came up with for this blog makes me laugh. It is true though. I guess you could say I'm only a recent user of firefox. I don't know why, but it took me a long time to here about this one. Microsoft had me so engrossed by IE that I wasn't even looking for other web browsers. I didn't even know of all the problems that IE has until recently. Looking back, it is a real shocker. I consider myself a techy geek. I usually know of the latest and greatest technical gadgets. For some reason, I never knew of firefox. I absolutely love FireFox. I have recently acquired a labtop and the first thing I did was load firefox and load all my favorite extensions and themes. Man I love how you can configure it. But thats only half of it. Firefox views web pages beautifully and it is a whole lot more reliable than IE, I don't care what version of it. Everyone has to try Firefox you will fall in love with it. I could keep going and going about how I love FireFox, but I think you should try it out for yourself. Also if you use a third party mail app, try thunderbird. It is awesome.

Get Firefox!

Get Thunderbird!

ps-I Think I should change the title to I've officially Divorced IE

Kinda Sad

I had my last class of Web Development today. I really like that class, and I really liked my professor. She was pretty cool, laid back and down to earth. Thats always a good thing. I learned a lot in that class about web standards and other good stuff. I really want to take a flash class. I just wish I had the time and the money. I mean I'm not about to pay for another class unless I have to. Oh well, I will eventually get a book on it or learn it somehow. Oh well, thats all I have for today. Later

(still working on the new design...check it out I have changed a couple things since last night.)

New Site Design

Well yesterday, I decided that I really didn't like the design of my site. I actually haven't liked it for a long time, but I couldn't change it because I didn't have the time. The site was also a final project for my web development class at DCCC. There was a contest in that class, I actuall made 3rd place. I should have gotten better, the people who were reviewing my site I'm guessing weren't the brightest people. My professor gave us back the evaluation sheets they filled out so we could check the feedback. Everything I got points taken off on I had somewhere on my website. It sucks but what can I do. First prize won a printer. I could have used that. 2nd place won a USB Flash drive. I won a USB hub. I actually like my gift a lot because I have just gotten a laptop. So it will come in handy since this thing only has 2 USB ports. To tell you the truth, I don't know how the 1st place person won. I knew this one kid would probably get first so I didn't expect first. But he didn't even get first. He got second. Oh well. I'm done ranting. Anyway back to the reason I started this new post. I am in the process of redesigning my site. I think it looks a lot better so far. Check it out and let me know. here is the link http://www.geocities.com/gastwirthp@verizon.net/newsite.html

RSS

I am actually coming to figure out this RSS business. It is actually pretty cool. I'm actually surprised I never heard of this before. It's weird how things can just slip right past you with out getting knowledge of it. Any way just thought I'd share that. Oh yeah I've also changed the layout of my blog. Pretty cool huh?
